Sabà

saw-bah
i. plenty, abundance
ii. to be sated, be satisfied with, be fulfilled, be filled, have one's fill of

At first Sabà was nothing more than a dream. A light-hearted topic of conversation at the family dinner table, an empty space on the outskirts of Fort Langley, a possibility of which the magnitude we could not have predicted.
What was then a dream has grown to be a community, a gathering place, a small gem within which culture, cuisine and the comfort of a small town come together. Inspired by the colours and flavours of the Mediterranean and the Middle East, our menu is a carefully crafted balance of local, seasonal flavours.
Above all our philosophy is as following: there is no greater joy than to come together and enjoy a meal with those you love. All of our dishes are created to be shared and savoured family style, the portions are generous and the drinks are always pouring.
Sabà Café and Bistro is a cafe and restaurant previously operating under one roof. Now both locations can be found two minutes away from each other in our quaint little town. Behind our bakery display you will find a spread of baked goods: savoury, sweet and always freshly baked. Our espresso machine is the heart of the room and our secret courtyard is a portal through which you might experience a warm afternoon in a small Italian piazza.
For all of you who have rolled up your sleeves and joined us at this family table: thank you. For those of you just joining us now; welcome. Our hope is for Sabà to always be a place of gathering, community, and acceptance.
